Critical injuries sustained by man on scooter after driving through intersection in DeKalb

According to Channel 2 Action News, a man from DeKalb County was critically injured on Saturday evening when he was hit by a vehicle.

At approximately 11 p.m., authorities were called to the 4400 block of Snapfinger Woods Drive in response to a car crash.

Upon their arrival at the scene, the responders discovered a man whom they identified as “critically injured.” He had been operating a moped and had collided with another vehicle. The injured individual was promptly transported to the hospital with injuries that were deemed to be life-threatening.

The moped driver collided with another vehicle, causing minor injuries to the passenger in the car. Both individuals were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

The victim’s condition remains unknown as there has been no update provided.
