If you happen to be traveling along the Georgia coast on Interstate 95, you might spot a massive construction project underway. This is definitely something that Buc-ee’s fans will want to keep tabs on.
Construction on the new location of the well-known travel center chain has officially commenced this month. The site is situated off I-95 and Ga. 99 in Brunswick.
On Friday, the Savannah Morning News released some fresh pictures of the project. According to Buc-ee’s, they have tentatively scheduled the grand opening for June 2, 2025.
In 2023, Buc-ee’s confirmed the construction of its newest and largest location in the state, boasting a whopping 74,000 square feet and 120 fuel pumps. The news about this development was first reported by Channel 2’s sister station, Action News Jax, in July 2022.
Over 200 full-time job opportunities will be created in the area due to the location, with salaries starting above the minimum wage. The employees will receive comprehensive benefits, including three weeks of paid vacation and a 6% matching 401k plan.
Georgia residents can now enjoy the convenience and hospitality of Buc-ee’s with the opening of their third store in the state. The new location joins the ranks of the Calhoun and Macon-Warner Robins metro area stores, providing customers with the same exceptional experience they have come to expect from Buc-ee’s.
