Drivers residing in the area express their satisfaction with the reopening of the road. A mother, who resides in a neighborhood on one side of the bridge, recounts the inconvenience of having to take a detour to ensure her children reach school and attend their activities on the opposite side.

Brittany Van Rensburg informed Gehlbach that she loses approximately 15 minutes each way whenever she goes somewhere.

The Georgia Department of Transportation has begun the process of replacing three old bridges over Ga. 400 as a key component of the upcoming project to introduce new express lanes.

The reopening of the Kimball Bridge Road and Roberts Drive bridges has been a significant development in recent months. Now, with the reopening of the Pitts Road bridge, the final piece of the puzzle is complete. This marks a major milestone in the restoration of the local infrastructure.

Several neighbors acknowledged that they appreciated the secluded nature of their community, which provided a respite from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and resulted in reduced traffic. However, they are eagerly looking forward to re-establishing their connection with the surrounding area.
