Community gathers for prayer vigil in support of 8-year-old shot in Virginia Beach

Mocobizscene- The Virginia Beach community is uniting to organize a vigil on Monday in honor of Landyn Davis, an 8-year-old boy who tragically suffered a gunshot wound to the head at his home.

The prayer vigil, which is open to the public, is set to take place on February 19th at 7 p.m. in the grassy field behind the Norfolk CHKD. Flowers, balloons, and posters are highly encouraged for the vigil, while candles are not permitted.

Virginia Beach police are currently conducting an investigation into this incident and have established an anonymous digital portal to assist in locating the suspects. A GoFundMe campaign has also been initiated to assist with the costs associated with Landyn.
