Car collides with Atlanta firetruck en route to accident on Buford Spring Connector

On Wednesday morning, a car collided with an Atlanta firetruck that was en route to another car accident.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., a crash occurred on Midtown’s Interstate 85 and Buford Spring Connector.

As per the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, a collision occurred with Fire Truck 29 when the crew was managing an ongoing accident by obstructing the traffic on the roadway.

According to AFRD, the firefighters who were in the truck emerged from the accident unharmed. However, the woman who was driving the other car sustained serious injuries and had to be taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for medical attention.
