Bankruptcy Judge ominously predicts more ‘draconian requests’ as creditors pursue Florida condo owned by Rudy Giuliani

The judge overseeing Rudy Giuliani’s bankruptcy case offered a temporary relief on Thursday by choosing not to immediately rule on whether the former New York City mayor should sell his million-dollar Florida condo. However, the judge also issued a stark warning, indicating that the worst may still be ahead.

In a recent hearing, Giuliani made a plea to U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane to avoid selling his condo while he appeals the $148 million defamation judgment against him. Giuliani strongly believes that the judgment is unjustified and argues that the alleged victims, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, did not suffer any significant damages.

According to Giuliani, being compelled to sell his Florida condo at this time would result in irreparable harm, especially considering the possibility of a reduced judgment on appeal. Furthermore, he has already made the decision to sell his Manhattan property. Giuliani also emphasized his commitment to increasing his broadcast income and highlighted his intention to utilize the Florida condo for this purpose, ultimately benefiting his creditors.
