Authorities searching for individual who took a pit bull that was tethered outside a shop in the Morrisania area of the Bronx

Authorities in the Bronx are currently on the lookout for an individual who is suspected of stealing a dog last week. The incident has prompted a search for the perpetrator, and the police are working diligently to locate and apprehend the suspect.

At approximately 6:10 a.m. on Friday, the incident took place near 3427 Third Avenue.

The NYPD reported that a man, aged 42, left his pit bull, Precious, tied to a fence before entering a store in the Morrisania area of the Bronx.

According to the officers, the dog theft occurred when the suspect was passing by the store. After stealing the furry companion, the perpetrator fled towards the south on Third Avenue. Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries during the incident.

According to the authorities, the individual in question is a male with a fair complexion, of moderate build, and has a neatly trimmed, long beard. The police report states that his last known outfit comprised a black t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
