Authorities Say Bath & Body Works Thieves Apprehended After High-Speed Chase on I-66

Authorities have reported the arrest of three individuals who were involved in a pursuit on I-66 after stealing from Bath & Body Works.

Dave Satter shared a video capturing the culmination of a police pursuit involving Tasha Easterling, Michael Jones, and Shacota Brown. The pursuit, led by Easterling, ended with their arrest just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 23. The individuals were identified by Fairfax County police.

The trouble started at the Bath and Body Works store located at 13009 Route 50 in Fair Oaks. Jones and Brown were accused of stealing items from the store. They quickly made their escape in a BMW driven by Easterling, according to the police.

According to Satter’s video and FCPD, troopers found the car on I-66 and eventually stopped it.

Jones faced charges of petit larceny, assault, and grand larceny. Meanwhile, Brown was accused of both grand and petit larceny, and Easterling was charged with felony speed to elude and felony aid to commit larceny.
