Kansas City, Missouri police are seeking assistance from the public in locating a 13-year-old boy who went missing on Tuesday afternoon.

Jaylan Anderson, a resident of the 7200 block of Virginia Avenue, was last seen around 1:20 p.m.

Anderson sported a sleek black hoodie paired with matching black pants.

His family is worried about his well-being, according to the police.
