APD investigates fatal shooting near the Trap Music Museum resulting in one casualty.

The Atlanta Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a homicide that took place in northwest Atlanta, according to authorities who spoke with Channel 2 Action News.

Police responded to a report of a person shot around 8 p.m. near 630 Travis Street.

The address is associated with the Trap Music Museum.

Upon the arrival of the authorities, it was reported that a 60-year-old man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

First responders confirmed that the victim tragically passed away at the scene.

The victim played an active role in maintaining cleanliness in the parking lot and assisting with parking duties, as stated by the police.

The suspect is tall and has dreadlocks.
