APD accuses store owner of illegally providing cash payouts to customers on gambling machines

An employee in Atlanta was not as fortunate when he disregarded state laws pertaining to illegal gambling, according to the police.

On April 3, the License and Permits Unit of the APD carried out a search warrant at the 24-Hour Food Mart located on Cleveland Avenue.

After an extensive investigation, it was discovered that the store was involved in illegal activities, specifically the distribution of cash payments as winnings from gambling machines.
