Mocobizscene- According to a local report, an out-of-control automobile struck and killed a 15-year-old father-to-be on Saturday in Los Angeles.
According to the local station, Carlos Hernandez was standing close to parked cars in the Sun Valley district of Los Angeles when a car that a 22-year-old guy allegedly drove struck the cars and the teenager.
Hernandez was transferred to a nearby hospital, where the station said he was declared deceased. There was a big memorial with candles, balloons, and flowers at the crossroads where friends and family had assembled to mourn.
The accused driver reportedly fled on foot, but police soon caught up with him. According to KTLA, his name and potential charges are still under investigation. According to a GoFundMe page his family set up, the teenager is “excited to be a dad to his little boy.” The family is asking for assistance to aid with funeral costs.
