On Sunday, Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama shared his prediction for the upcoming presidential race. According to him, the race will be “interesting” and will be between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, Tuberville took aim at President Joe Biden’s performance in a recent presidential debate. He portrayed the president as a feeble figurehead who hasn’t been in control for at least a couple of years.
“He said that there is no doubt that they would take Joe Biden to the Capitol, walk him around, hold his arm, hold his hand, and lead him around to show him off. However, he believes that they are the ones making all the decisions.”
According to the speaker, the individuals who hold the real power to make decisions are Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, and what is commonly referred to as “the Deep State”.
Following the debate, Democrats have been engaged in discussions over whether Joe Biden should continue as their presidential candidate for the 2024 elections and, if not, who could possibly replace him. Biden, however, has made it clear that he currently has no intention of withdrawing from the race.
Tuberville has been consistent in his stance regarding Biden’s mental state, as he referred to him as a “dementia-ridden” puppet since the debate. This is not a new development.
On Sunday, he commented that Joe Biden seemed to be unaware of the current day. He expressed his sympathy towards Biden’s illness, as he understands that people do get sick. However, he believes that the Democrats are using this situation to their advantage and trying to retain their power. He also shared his opinion that Kamala Harris might be the one running against Donald Trump, which he finds intriguing.
During the interview, Bartiromo inquired about Harris’ potential running mate.
Tuberville expressed his opinion on the current situation by stating that they will not intervene and let them make their own mistakes, as he believes it is a complete disaster.
During their conversation, Bartiromo and Tuberville delved into the topic of border security. Tuberville revealed that during a recent visit, he was informed by certain “operatives” that individuals linked to the terrorist group ISIS from Africa were entering the country at an alarming rate. Bartiromo clarified the term “operatives” to mean “officials”.
Tuberville expressed concern over the possibility of a national disaster caused by individuals crossing the border, placing the blame on the Democrats. “There is going to be a national disaster with some people coming across this border and it’s going to be all on the backs of the Democrats,” he stated.
