At approximately 2:07 p.m., the authorities attempted to pull over a car on Iredell County’s northbound Interstate-77. The vehicle was driving recklessly and posed a potential hazard on the road.

As emergency lights and sirens blared, the vehicle failed to pull over and a pursuit ensued. It was later discovered by the Troopers that the vehicle had been stolen.

As the pursuit continued on I-77 North, it eventually reached Surry County where the vehicle ultimately crashed near mile-marker 85.
