Route 17 in Hackensack was completely shut down early Thursday, May 2 due to a crash.
According to the NJDOT website, a crash occurred in the southbound lanes near Summit Avenue prior to 6 a.m.
At the time of reporting, photos reveal the presence of a tow truck and emergency response vehicles at the scene.
There is an ongoing investigation causing delays of up to 15 minutes.
