The authorities at Cobb County are currently in the process of identifying a motorcyclist who sustained severe injuries in a crash that occurred on Sunday.
The police report states that an unknown man was driving a black 2024 Suzuki GSX-R1000 heading east on Chastain Road towards Barrett Lakes Boulevard at 9:47 p.m.
At the young age of 18, Helena Mastranni from Canton found herself in a position of being a passenger on a motorcycle.
The motorcycle disobeyed the traffic signal and collided with a 2017 Lexus ES350 at the intersection, as reported by the police.
Both the motorcyclist and Mastranni sustained severe injuries and were transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment.
The hospital also admitted the Lexus driver for medical attention.
The authorities are still in the process of determining the identity of the motorcyclist involved in the incident, and the investigation is still ongoing.
