A Maryland man wins a $50,000 lottery prize thanks to his grandmother’s advice

On July 3rd, a lucky man from Maryland revealed that his grandmother’s wise words had helped him win a whopping $50,000 in the lottery. The man was ecstatic with his win and attributed his success to his grandmother’s teachings.

According to Maryland Lottery officials, a man from Baltimore shared his scratch-off ticket strategy which was inspired by his grandmother’s advice from a few years back.

He said that his grandmother once told him that luck is not something that everyone can have every single day.

According to the man, he implements her advice by purchasing two scratch-off tickets whenever he feels like playing the lottery. If none of the tickets turn out to be a winner, he refrains from buying more for the day. Conversely, if one of the tickets turns out to be a winner, he continues to purchase more.

At the EZ Quick Food Market on Mountain Road in Pasadena, a man successfully utilized his technique to win a $50,000 prize from a Mega Money scratch-off ticket.

According to him, he has been able to win over $150,000 in prize money over the years by following the advice of his grandmother.

“He said he had won big twice before, but it had been a while since his last win. At that point, he wasn’t even sure if he would ever win big again.”
