A man is charged with pursuing a man into a store and shooting him

A man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting another man after following him into a store in Memphis, Tennessee.

At 6:00 p.m. on July 4th, the Memphis Police Department was called to respond to a shooting incident that occurred at 935 S. Highland Street.

As the victim was exiting the store, he caught sight of a man named Katron Crawford driving past in a black Infiniti sedan with a sunroof. This information was recounted to authorities.

Upon arriving at the parking lot, Crawford’s presence immediately caused the victim to anticipate trouble. It was no secret that the two had an ongoing dispute.

According to the victim, he decided to return to the store to avoid any potential conflict with Crawford. However, he still kept a close eye on Crawford’s movements through the window.

According to the victim, Crawford returned to the business on the southside parking lot after circling the block, but he was unable to see him at that time.

According to the police report, the act was captured on the store’s security camera.

On July 6, authorities took Crawford into custody and accused him of attempted first-degree murder and utilizing a firearm during the commission of a risky felony.

His court appearance is scheduled for July 8.
