A Clayton County entrepreneur provides employment opportunities for formerly known ‘water boys’

Upon encountering it for the first time, Caleb Fulks immediately recognized that there had to be a more efficient solution.

On Friday, Fulks recounted to Berndt Petersen from Channel 2 how she immediately sprang into action, asking, “What can I do?”

Atlanta’s interstate entrance and exit ramps were the location in question.

During his travels, he came across a group of young entrepreneurs known as the “water boys”. These industrious youths sold bottled water to drivers passing by.

Fulks devised an alternative to a controversial method some teens were using to earn money.

Fulks highlighted that pressure washing is all about water, which is why it makes sense to utilize water in other ways to generate a sustainable income.

Real Motion, a business founded by Fulks, aims to provide summer employment opportunities to teenagers in the local community. The main objective of the business is to keep the teens away from the highways during the day and prevent them from roaming the streets at night.

According to 17-year-old Car Wash Attendant David Roberts, working as a car wash attendant is an ideal summer job. Not only does it keep you occupied and out of trouble, but it also allows you to earn some extra cash.

Two years back, Fulks and his team began their venture by pressure washing homes and driveways. However, they have now expanded their services to include car washing and detailing. Their new headquarters is located along State Road 138 in Riverdale.

Fulks has taken on the role of a mentor, in addition to being the owner.

Fulks emphasized the importance of teaching perseverance, a good attitude, and drive to the kids. According to him, all these children require is an opportunity to showcase their potential. Fulks firmly believes that once they realize the need for improvement, they will start working towards it.

Real Motion’s founder, Fulks, has set his sights on expanding the business by investing in additional equipment. He plans to strategically store power washers in trailers throughout the city, which will be operated by the youth who work alongside him.
