359 individuals have been apprehended by NY State Police in a crackdown on retail theft that lasted several months

New York State Police have apprehended 359 individuals as a result of their extensive efforts to combat retail theft over the course of several months.

From March 16 onwards, various agencies have teamed up with State Police to combat shoplifting.

The issue of retail theft is becoming increasingly prevalent, and its economic consequences are significant.

During that period, authorities were able to retrieve stolen property worth over $100,000.

Troopers were called to nearly 500 businesses throughout New York in response to complaints.

A grand total of 571 separate charges are being faced by the individuals who have been arrested.
