Mocobizscene- Around 2:00 pm on Monday, December 28, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Jersey City resident Angel Guzman had been shot in the upper torso and had arrived at Jersey City Medical Center in a private vehicle. Shortly around 4 p.m., Suarez reported, he was declared deceased.
According to Suarez, an investigation showed that Guzman had been shot in the head inside a Jersey City home on Ocean Avenue. According to Suarez, the 17-year-old was charged as a juvenile with multiple firearms charges and aggravated manslaughter.
An effort has been started to raise money to help Guzman’s family with burial costs. By this Thursday, December 28, the total amount raised exceeded $3,600.
