Israel Discovers the Largest Hamas Tunnel Amid a Hostage Rescue Mission Near the Gaza Border

Mocobizscene- The giant tunnel in Gaza, according to Israel’s military, is part of a network used by Hamas to launch attacks and move supplies.

The tunnel has communication lines, water, and electricity, and it is around two miles long and broad enough for a small car. The IDF close to the border crossing at Erez discovered the tunnel entry. On October 7, Hamas terrorists had earlier blasted a hole in the wall to start the present confrontation.

The mission of the IDF is complicated; it entails fighting Hamas militants both above and below ground as well as rescuing over 130 captives who are reportedly being held in Gaza. Three Israeli hostages who were attempting to surrender were accidentally killed by IDF forces, raising fears about the safety of the remaining captives and raising ethical concerns about the soldiers’ actions.
