The suspect in the Montgomery robbery has been caught after a chase and a crash

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Early Monday morning, a crime suspect in a stolen vehicle led Montgomery police on a chase until he was caught.

A short time later, cops tried to pull someone over near Ann Street on southbound I-85. The suspect wouldn’t stop, so the police went after him. MPD said the chase stopped when a single car crashed near Mulberry Street and West Fourth Street.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, ran away from the car and was caught after a short chase on foot. There may be charges.
