Montgomery police are looking for the person who killed a man discovered in a vehicle fire

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Montgomery Police Department is offering a reward for information about a homicide case that occurred earlier this month.

Police are investigating the death of Joseph Turner, 38. Turner’s body was discovered in a burned vehicle near Interstate 85 and Taylor Road on August 17, according to police and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers.

According to investigators, an autopsy confirmed Turner was fatally shot prior to the vehicle fire.
