Iowa authorities find missing Plover boys Safe and cancel Amber Alert

The two missing boys from Plover, for whom an Amber Alert was issued, have been found and the alert has been canceled.

On Monday morning, two young boys aged 7 and 9 went missing and were thought to be with their father. Good news came on Tuesday when the Plover Police Department announced that the boys were found safe and sound in Muscatine, Iowa.

An investigation is currently underway, as stated by Plover Police Chief Ryan Fox. Unfortunately, no additional details are available at this time.

The Plover Police Department expressed gratitude to several agencies for their assistance in a recent case. Fox conveyed appreciation to the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, the Illinois State Police, the Muscatine Police Department (Iowa), the Rock Island Police Department (Illinois), the Clinton Police Department (Iowa), Wausau Police Department, Dane County Sheriff’s Office, Portage County Sheriff’s Office and the Portage County Child Protective Services for their support.
