In Birmingham, a person was injured in an interstate shooting

The Birmingham Police Department is currently investigating a recent shooting incident that occurred on the interstate.

The shooting took place on I-59 North, near the airport exit. According to officials, the victim sustained injuries that are not life-threatening.

At this time, the police have not identified any suspects in connection with the shooting.
