Fatal stabbing of a woman reported in Montgomery – WAKA 8

The Montgomery police are currently conducting an investigation into a death that was caused by a stabbing.

At approximately 10:43 this morning, authorities found 21-year-old Tiana Dye of Montgomery with stab wounds in the 400 block of Clanton Avenue, located near the Church of the Ascension and Trinity Presbyterian Church, just off South Hull Street.

According to law enforcement officials, Dye was transported to a medical facility where she was later declared deceased.

Within the last 24 hours, the city has experienced its second stabbing incident. On Saturday night, a man was stabbed on Goodwyn Drive.
