According to court documents, a suspect charged in a recent Montgomery homicide was out on bond at the time of the shooting.
Baltazar Barrera, 20, was previously charged with first-degree assault and shooting a handgun into an occupied building or vehicle, according to court documents.
According to the complaint, the incident happened in April at 11:30 p.m. on Chisholm Street. The shooter struck the victim in the right hand and left thigh.
According to court documents, this case was assigned to a Montgomery County grand jury. In that case, a motion to revoke Barrera’s bond has been filed.
Barrera is still being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
