The homicide of a 16-year-old kid is being investigated by the Montgomery Police Department.
According to a news release, the Montgomery kid died Monday after being shot on Saturday.
Officers were called to a local hospital at 8 p.m., where the teen had a life-threatening gunshot wound. They found that the shooting occurred along West Edgemont Avenue.
Other details concerning the shooting were not immediately released by police.
