Arrest made in the Montgomery homicide that occurred on Tuesday night

On Tuesday night, a man was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama, and the Montgomery Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the incident.

Montgomery resident Terrance Moorer, aged 24, has been charged with capital murder on Wednesday. Currently, he is being held without bail at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

According to the authorities, the individual who lost his life in the incident was Jeralyric Goldsmith, aged 25, hailing from Montgomery. He was discovered with gunshot wounds in the 4200 block vicinity of Knoll Gate Road, located off Woodley Road, at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. After being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead.

The potential motive behind the incident has not been disclosed by the police.
