A woman was killed in a pickup truck accident in Montgomery County

montgomery News (Mocobizscene)- A tragic incident occurred in Montgomery County where a woman lost her life in a pickup truck crash.

According to the Alabama State Troopers, the victim, Sue E. Maddox, a 66-year-old resident of Midland City, was driving the truck when it went off-road and collided with two utility poles. Unfortunately, the investigators found out that Maddox wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Maddox was immediately taken to Baptist Medical Center South for treatment, but she succumbed to her injuries later on.

The incident took place around 1:23 PM on Monday, on Pike Road, approximately three miles outside Montgomery, near Alabama Highway 110.
