According to authorities, a tragic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon that resulted in the death of a 52-year-old man from Montgomery. The collision involved three vehicles, and it was a devastating loss for the victim’s loved ones.
In an email statement, Maj. Saba Coleman announced that the Montgomery Police Department is currently investigating the passing of Douglas Zeigler. The incident took place in the 3900 block of Mobile Highway, and officers and fire medics immediately responded to the crash.
According to reports, Zeigler was behind the wheel of a 1997 Toyota Camry when the accident occurred. Unfortunately, he sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Zeigler tragically passed away from his injuries.
Police have reported that there were no additional injuries at the scene.
