Montgomery News (Mocobizscene) – In a quiet neighbourhood in Montgomery, the sound of police sirens and helicopter rotors filled the air as law enforcement gathered to pursue a stolen vehicle on Friday afternoon.
This was the second chase conducted by the Montgomery Police Department within hours. The chase began after a noon traffic stop, which turned into a police pursuit in the area of Vaughn Road and Bell Road when officers tried to stop a stolen Ford Focus sedan.
Eventually, with the help of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Aviation Unit and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the chase ended in the 1000 block of Vaughn Lane.
The suspect, a male whose identity remains unknown, was taken into custody and is currently awaiting charges.
The authorities are still investigating the incident.
