Deputies in Jackson County detained eight people after discovering meth, fentanyl mix, marijuana, pills, and other drugs

In Jackson County, eight people were detained on drug-related offences on Friday.

Members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Hollywood Police Department, and Stevenson Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 287 in Stevenson, Alabama, around 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

During their search, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office discovered and recovered approximately 326.4 grams of a methamphetamine/fentanyl mixture, roughly 102 grams of marijuana, different controlled pills, a weapon, and drug paraphernalia.

According to the sheriff’s office, the following people were arrested:

Michael Keith Garrard, 49, of Stevenson, was charged with fentanyl trafficking, three counts of unlawful possession of controlled narcotics, marijuana possession, and drug paraphernalia possession. According to jail records, the bond was set at $33,500, and he was released on Saturday.

James Stacy Dunn, 47, of Hollywood, was charged with fentanyl trafficking, unlawful possession of controlled narcotics, marijuana possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to jail records, the bond was set at $28,500.

Adam Joe Warren, 47, of Bridgeport, was charged with fentanyl trafficking. According to jail records, a bond was set at $25,000.
Christopher Odel Taylor, 35, of Stevenson, was charged with drug paraphernalia possession and loitering in a drug home. According to jail records, the bond was set at $964.

Melanie Lynette Carano, 51, of Stevenson, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of controlled narcotics as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. According to jail records, her bond was set at $500, and she was released on Saturday.

Bridgeport resident Tristan Lee Sawyer, 24, was charged with loitering in a drug home. According to jail records, bond was set at $500.

Bridgeport resident James Kenneth Carter, 34, was charged with unauthorized possession of controlled narcotics and loitering in a drug home.

Stephanie Nicole Monk, 24, of Bridgeport, was arrested on suspicion of loitering in a drug home.

Carter and Monk’s mugshots and bond information have yet to be issued by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
