HPD: A woman died in a two-vehicle crash has been identified, and one other person has been critically injured.

On Tuesday afternoon, a tragic two-vehicle wreck occurred in Huntsville, Alabama. Reports indicate that one person lost their life in the accident, while another individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

According to an official from the Huntsville Police Department (HPD), the accident took place at Winchester Road and Fortune Drive around 2 p.m.

HPD has confirmed that a tragic accident took place, resulting in the death of one person, identified as Pamela Milton, aged 60, from Huntsville. The incident involved another vehicle, and the driver of that vehicle was rushed to Huntsville Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to HPD. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.

Winchester Road at Fortune Drive experienced a temporary closure for a few hours, with both east and westbound lanes being affected. However, the road has since been reopened at approximately 5:38 p.m.
