According to HPD, the car that was spotted speeding away was a white Lexus with black rims, which they believe to be a newer model. Interestingly, investigators have reason to believe that this same vehicle was responsible for transporting the second victim to the hospital.
According to Lt. R. Willkens, it is believed that the same vehicle was spotted transporting the other body to a nearby hospital. Two Hispanic males had reportedly dragged the body out of the car and left it at the sliding doors of the hospital’s entrance before hastily leaving the scene.
According to Willkens, the investigators are actively searching for surveillance footage and are optimistic about their ability to locate the suspects.
No descriptions of suspects were provided by HPD. The reason behind the shooting remains unclear.
