Central Illinois: Law Enforcement Discovers $200,000 Worth of Drugs in Raid

Watseka, IL – The Watseka Enforcement Team, alongside K-9 Tucker and the Iroquois County State’s Attorney’s office, executed a search warrant resulting in the arrest of a local woman. This operation, carried out on South Brown Street at 5:30 p.m. Monday, targeted the sale of “pressed pills” and methamphetamine.

The Watseka Police Department reported the seizure of approximately 1,200 grams of cannabis, 280 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and 500 “pressed pills” that tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl. Additional items seized included 396 Xanax bars, 20 containers of “Dabs,” 22 containers of cannabis edibles, a small amount of cocaine, MDT, 15 grams of ecstasy, and $200 in cash.

Kristin A. Kirby, 30, of Watseka, was arrested. She faces several charges, including unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of cannabis. Kirby was taken to the Iroquois County jail and released under the Illinois Safe-T Act.
