An 18-year-old guy has been arrested for committing 20 different violent acts by the police in the District of Columbia on Thursday. It is worth noting that the earliest crime took place in May.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detained Malique Tyrone Outland, an 18-year-old resident of Northwest, District of Columbia, following the execution of a search warrant in the 2000 block of 1st Street Northwest.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the warrant was issued regarding an armed carjacking incident that took place on September 3 in the Northwest District of Columbia.
Outland faced multiple charges, including unauthorized use of a vehicle and unlawful entrance, alongside probable cause for six armed robberies, nine armed carjackings, one assault with a dangerous weapon, two auto thefts, and one assault with a weapon. A total of twenty violent crimes were alleged against him.
The Metropolitan Police Department maintains a webpage where they document all incidents, dates, and locations of criminal activities. One such incident was an armed robbery that occurred in the Southeast District of Columbia on May 25.
