A woman from Toledo has been taken into custody after she was reportedly caught trafficking drugs in Hancock County. The arrest was made on Thursday, and the accused is now facing charges related to drug trafficking.
At approximately 8:35 p.m. on September 27, Stacy Cieply, a 30-year-old from Toledo, was apprehended at Casey’s Convenience Store in Findlay following a drug bust executed by the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, in conjunction with the Findlay Police Department and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
According to FPD, the recent bust was a result of their ongoing investigation into an individual who was reportedly transporting methamphetamine from Toledo to Findlay.
The authorities have revealed that Cieply, in a span of three trips from Toledo, transported a whopping 258 grams of methamphetamine to Findlay. The police also confiscated $732 from Cieply’s car, which included the money from the purchase made on Thursday night.
According to the authorities, Cieply is currently detained at the Hancock County Justice Center and is charged with Trafficking Drugs, which is a serious first-degree felony. The police have revealed that further charges related to drug trafficking are likely to be brought against him after a thorough investigation.
