The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) announced that it has successfully retrieved stolen merchandise worth $13,000 from King Soopers and Albertsons/Safeway on Thursday, Oct. 19.

Upon conducting an inquiry into a highly productive “booster,” investigators uncovered a scheme in which merchandise pilfered from various shops was purportedly being sold.

On Thursday morning at 9 a.m., investigators carried out a search warrant at a residence situated in the 4100 block of Solarglen Drive. During the search, they discovered a range of stolen goods, which included soda, Tide detergent, paper towels, and other items.

According to CSPD, the individual residing at the location in question runs several food stores in the vicinity. Furthermore, all confiscated products have been returned to the grocery stores, and it is anticipated that more arrests will be made in connection with the incident.
