Police: Man Fires Shots at Car Moving ‘Too Slowly’ on LIE

An investigation is currently underway regarding an alleged road rage incident that occurred on the Long Island Expressway.

In the wee hours of Sunday, a vehicle was targeted with gunshots near Exit 32 in Bayside.

The police reported that the victim’s car was moving at a slow pace when the alleged shooter drove past the car and fired his weapon before quickly fleeing the scene.

After the incident, the driver attempted to pursue the individual but eventually made a U-turn and headed towards a nearby service road. They promptly contacted 911 to report the incident.

Fortunately, the driver is expected to be alright.

Authorities are continuing their search for the perpetrator responsible for the shooting.

At the intersection of Mill Avenue and Avenue U in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, an MTA bus collided with multiple cars, causing them to pile up on top of each other. For the latest information on the incident, we turn to Johny Fernandez, who is reporting live from the scene.
