Police: 1 killed in Paterson after van jumps curb

In Passaic County, a fatal accident involving a motor scooter and a van is under investigation by the local police.

The incident occurred right in front of a Presbyterian church located near Broadway and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson.

According to investigators, a pedestrian and a person on a motor scooter were hit by a van driver who lost control and veered onto the curb.

The motor scooter driver sustained injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
