An Alabama mother has been under investigation since May 2023 after taking her young child to a local doctor’s office. The doctor concluded that the child’s injuries were more severe and required medical assistance from a local hospital.
According to the news release from the Police, details about the concerned mother were revealed. The statement reads:
This has been an ongoing investigation which resulted in a warrant being issued for the mother of the child,Quiana Celeste Brantley, 29 Years old, for Willful Abuse of a Child. On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, Brantley was arrested on the outstanding warrant and booked into the City Jail (Dothan). Her bond was set at $15,000.00.
According to reports, it has been found that the child had suffered comparable injuries at the hands of Brantley in the past. Fortunately, the injuries were not severe enough to endanger the child’s life.
