Local stylist’s business expands as they design attire for Beyoncé’s KC fans

As Beyoncé gets ready to perform in Kansas City this Sunday, a local stylist is also preparing for the big event with her unique line of Renaissance-inspired clothing and accessories. The stylist is excited to showcase her designs and hopes to catch the attention of Queen Bey herself. With her attention to detail and passion for fashion, this stylist is sure to turn heads with her creative and artistic pieces.

Lynette Crawford is the proud owner of a chic boutique called Style Therapii. Interestingly, she operates her business out of another well-known boutique, The Rack Clothing Essentials, located in Kansas City. Since the introduction of Beyoncé-inspired items in both of her stores, Lynette has noticed a significant surge in customer traffic and sales. This strategic move has undoubtedly paid off for her business, attracting more shoppers who are fans of the iconic singer’s style.

Crawford expressed her surprise, stating, “I was really surprised to see orders coming in from all over.”

Crawford acknowledges that running a small business can present its challenges, which is why receiving business from these outfits was an incredible stroke of luck.

She expressed that it was one of the most challenging tasks she has ever undertaken, but the sense of fulfillment it brings is unparalleled. “It’s gratifying to witness the revenue pouring in,” she added.

Hannah Salazar, a close friend and client of hers, is well acquainted with the challenges of this struggle.

Salazar expressed his gratitude towards being able to support his business as a small business owner. He acknowledged the difficulties that come with the role and emphasized the importance of being appreciative of the opportunity to do so.

After relocating to Kansas City, Salazar took the initiative to establish a credit repair business, which has now been in operation for two years.

After enjoying the mesmerizing performance of Beyonce and Jay-Z during their On the Run Tour in Los Angeles, she decided to move away from the bustling city.

According to Salazar, the level of stardom in Kansas City is a positive thing, particularly for businesses in the area.

Salazar expressed his surprise at the unexpected arrival of the guest, stating, “I definitely was surprised. I didn’t think she was gonna come.” He further added that the visit has the potential to boost tourism and bring in more revenue to Kansas City. Salazar believes that the influx of visitors will lead to increased business for restaurants and hotels, ultimately resulting in the growth of the local economy.

Crawford considers the presence of Beyoncé in her hometown as the most desirable thing that she has never experienced.

Crawford expressed his sentiments by saying, “To me, it’s a part of history. For the longest time, people overlooked Kansas City, and we weren’t even on the map.” He emphasized how it feels like a significant moment to him, acknowledging the city’s journey towards recognition.

Without a doubt, Kansas City is now in the limelight thanks to the attention-grabbing presence of both her and Beyoncé. Their combined star power has brought the eyes of the world to this city, and it’s impossible to ignore their impact.

According to Crawford, her brand exudes a lot of sparkle and extravagance, which naturally attracts her core clientele. However, to her surprise, she has also gained customers beyond the borders of Kansas City who have ordered her signature “Lyonce” hat.

The response has been overwhelming, as it has become incredibly popular.

At the People’s Choice Awards Ceremony held in Kansas City during July, she was seen wearing the “Lyonce” – a stylish black hat adorned with long, glimmering diamonds. She even proudly flaunted it as she received the “Best Boutique” award.

This weekend, Crawford is all set to host a range of events with a Beyoncé-theme, leading up to the concert.
