Graham is a Batavia manufacturing gem that creates large equipment for a global market

Looking to ignite some excitement? Then you’ll definitely want to chat with the team at Graham Manufacturing in Batavia. These experts are passionate about generating sparks and are eager to share their knowledge with you.

Graham specializes in creating large structures using massive pieces of metal, which requires expert welding skills. As a result, Graham places a significant emphasis on training its employees to become top-tier welders. The company invests heavily in its training programs to ensure that its welders acquire the skills they need to produce high-quality work that meets world-class standards.

Don Fonda, the plant supervisor at Graham, shared that they have established a welding school to train their own welders. To make this possible, they collaborated with Arc and Flame in Rochester, and they are covering the expenses of Graham employees who take classes there. The classes run for 12 weeks, and if the employees perform well, they get to work at Graham. On the other hand, if they need more improvement, they will be sent back for another 12 weeks of training.
