Father stabs his wife and two small boys before murdering himself in their Upper West Side apartment

According to police and sources, a father viciously killed his wife and their two young sons — an infant and a toddler — before killing himself inside their Upper West Side apartment.

According to cops and sources, the father, who was the building’s superintendent, and mother, 41 and 40, were discovered inside the fourth-floor apartment on West 86th Street, near Riverside Drive, just before 3 p.m. Monday, along with their two children, a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy.

According to the sources, the dead wife’s father and another relative, who is the superintendent of an adjacent building, went to check on the four because they hadn’t heard from them since Sunday morning.

Four members of a family were found stabbed to death in their Upper West Side apartment.

After hammering through the lock on their flat and discovering blood inside, the relatives phoned 911.

According to the sources, first responders discovered the two children in the living room with many knife wounds and two knives nearby.

According to sources, the woman’s body was located in the hallway with a deep cut to her neck, while the guy was discovered in a bedroom, laying on a bed with a knife next to him.

The police were notified by the mother’s father and another relative who is a superintendent of a nearby building.

According to sources, the flat was locked from the inside.

At the scene, the individuals were pronounced dead.

Their identities are being kept until their families are notified.

According to sources, the father had no known criminal history and no prior record of police being summoned to the family’s flat.
