On the afternoon of October 17th, a young man and woman were victims of gun violence in a disadvantaged neighborhood located at the intersection of Holsman and North Bridge Streets. The male victim, only 18 years old, sustained a bullet wound to his leg, while the female victim was also shot.
In a brief joint statement, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi confirmed that both individuals were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson via ambulance.
No information was provided regarding the apprehension or identification of any suspects.
