Alleged Stalker of Drew Barrymore Faces Arrest Warrant

According to recent reports, Chad Michael Busto has been accused of stalking Drew Barrymore for several weeks. As a result, a judge has issued a warrant for his arrest. The situation has been escalating, and it’s crucial that Busto is taken into custody as soon as possible. Drew Barrymore deserves to feel safe and protected, and the legal system is taking action to ensure that justice is served.

According to Southampton Town Justice Court Clerk, Heather Drapal, Busto did not show up to get the GPS monitor that was ordered by the court, which led to a bench warrant being issued for his arrest. This information was reported by TMZ.

On August 21, during a conversation between Drew Barrymore and Reneé Rapp about her latest album at New York City’s 92nd St Y, a man rushed towards the stage. According to sources, the individual was trying to approach Drew Barrymore, but Reneé Rapp quickly stepped in to protect the talk show host. The incident caused a stir among the audience, and security quickly intervened to ensure everyone’s safety.

As soon as Busto announced himself, the singer took charge of the situation and addressed Barrymore in a composed manner, stating, “You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while I’m here in New York.” While security escorted the man out of the venue, Rapp accompanied the Ever After star offstage to ensure their safety.

After the incident, the police were not contacted immediately. However, a few days later, Chad Michael Busto was arraigned in Long Island for his behaviour in the actress’ neighbourhood in the Hamptons. He was caught going from door to door, asking other residents about the location of her house. Busto was charged with misdemeanour stalking but pleaded not guilty. Surprisingly, he was released without bail. The incident caused quite a stir, and Drew Barrymore’s fans were left worried about her safety.
