A woman is wanted in Northwest DC for an attempted bank robbery

Washington According to investigators, the attempted robbery took place on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 12:07 p.m. in the 2100 block of L Street, Northwest.

As the perpetrator walked into the bank, she handed a note to the teller, demanding that they hand over the cash. Despite the pressure, the employees did not comply with her demands, and the woman fled the scene empty-handed.

The authorities are currently analyzing the surveillance footage to identify the woman who was caught on camera.
