1 arrested in Autauga County huge dog fighting operation

AUTAUGA COUNTY, Ala. – In rural Autauga County, authorities have made an arrest following the discovery of a dog fighting operation in Plantersville. Reports indicate that one suspect is in custody in connection with this heinous and illegal activity.

According to reports, the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office, discovered the operation on Friday morning.

Law enforcement officials discovered 35 dogs on the premises, along with the remains of other dogs and animals.

According to authorities, the probe into the functioning of the operation had been in progress for a considerable period.
